Winds of Change will “change” the way you view Contractors forever.

Planning

It’s hard to believe that we started over 20 years ago in business. Our wonderful clients, great projects and lasting friendships have proven this to be the best journey of my life!

I fell in love with carpentry in high school shop class and I knew then I wanted to do this type of work for my life’s profession.

So, in 1999 after working in the construction industry for over 10 years and having the honor of my distinguished military service, I launched Winds of Change Contracting, which I knew would be a different kind of remodeling company.

I wanted to help a homeowner design and build a new, beautiful kitchen, a bath or a deck using my fundamental core values of honesty, integrity, and quality.

I also had invested heavily in my education to learn everything possible about design, engineering, architecture, framing, general construction, and master carpentry skills. I have put every one of those skills to work in my business. I am a perfectionist by nature. That can be a good thing or a challenging trait. My customers love it because their remodeling projects end up being amazing…my employees, however, question my sanity on a regular basis because of it.

With more rapid growth happening over the past several years, we now use state of the art project management software which affords our 8 full time employees to work more like a highly functioning machine, along with providing that personal touch towards every one of our clients.

Winds of Change only designs and builds full remodels for kitchens, bathrooms and decks along with an occasional unique family area. I make sure we deliver all our projects with professionalism, pride and with enthusiasm.

I take everything we do as a company personally…as I should. In 2019 my company was nominated for the best design and remodeler in Colorado Springs through the Housing & Building Association. In addition, we give back by helping with the “Careers in Construction” program which teaches the trades for kids in high school and “HBA Cares,” which is an HBA philanthropic program helping those in need. Rest assured that anyone who wants only the best will quickly realize why I have worked so hard to make Winds of Change Contracting stand out.
